Stop the Arms Fair are hosting a rally on the grass outside the Crystal Centre called Tank the Arms Fair between 9am and 9pm. There will be speakers, music, dance - see provisional programme.
Food by Veggies of Nottingham between 11am and 6pm.
3 toilets including a MobiLoo will be on site.
Plus shops and cafes are very near.
• 9.00-10.00am Meeting for Worship. Gather outside the Crystal Centre to walk over to nearer the Excel centre to witness there in Worship.
• 2.00-3.00pm Meeting for worship same details as at 9am
A group of Friends will be gathering at the garden outside Friends House at 7:30am to travel together to the Excel centre.
At the end of Meeting for Worship there will be an opportunity to sing together. To minimise covid risk we will only be singing outdoors, and therefore there won’t be a chance to practice at the in-person briefings – so we recommend having a listen to the videos beforehand.
We urge those coming to any action to be COVID-safe, to protect our community and make this protest accessible to all. Please take a test before coming, bring sanitiser and respect those who want to social distance. We recommend wearing a mask any time you are in a crowded space, including outdoors. Bring your own water bottle and mugs to get drinks on site!
